Okay, so Obama is it.

Obama is the Democratic candidate.

I think that I am one of the few people in Ireland who actually grasp that concept. Many seem to think that there is nothing now to stop Obama becoming president.

*cough* Um, actually, folks, there is. His name is McCain, and he is the other candidate.

Those people who understand that there is still an e-l-e-c-t-i-o-n to go, and not one that we can veto like Lisbon, want to know who I support.

If I could vote, I would research both candidates and make an informed decision. But I can't legally vote yet, and the fact that I'm American doesn't change that. McCain would probably make a decent president. Obama certainty has charisma, and it would have been nice to have a girl president. But that's as far as my political opinions go. For flips sake, I can't tell right wing from left wing, nevermind whether McCain or Obama would make a better president!

So please stop asking me what my opinion is!

Is the presidential race about the candidates or the candidates respective pastors? Because between McCain's Rev. Hagee and Obama's Rev. Wright, it's getting kinda ridiculous to say the least.

I'm in a hotel in DC, currently. I will go to Potomac and then on to McLean tomorrow morning bright and early (wake-up call at 6:45). Ugh.

On the drive up I watched POTC and looked out the window. That's all.

The hotel has no spaghetti. No pasta at ALL except penne. No sweetened iced tea (shows I'm in the North now, doesn't it). Grr.

Almost 10, must get my beauty sleep. Slan go foil!
